WWE confirms SummerSlam 2026 night 1 and night 2 lineups

WWE has confirmed which matches will take place on each night of SummerSlam 2026 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

The 12 matches had already been announced, but SmackDown commentator Joe Tessitore revealed the two-night split on Monday during an appearance on ESPN’s Get Up.

The line-ups were later confirmed on WWE.com.

The full running order for each night was not revealed, but Tessitore confirmed the main events.

CM Punk’s Undisputed WWE Championship defense against Cody Rhodes will headline Saturday, August 1. Roman Reigns will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins in Sunday’s main event.

Saturday, August 1

  • Undisputed WWE Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. Cody Rhodes
  • Women’s World Championship: Liv Morgan (c) vs. IYO SKY
  • Hell in a Cell: Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi
  • Gunther vs. Nick Aldis
  • LA Knight, Solo Sikoa & Royce Keys vs. Jacob Fatu & The Usos
  • The Bella Twins & Paige vs. Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid)

Sunday, August 2

  • World Heavyweight Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Seth Rollins
  • Interim WWE Women’s Championship Ladder Match: Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Chelsea Green vs. TBD
  • Intercontinental Championship: Penta (c) vs. Chad Gable
  • United States Championship: Trick Williams (c) vs. Baron Corbin
  • Undisputed WWE Championship No. 1 Contender’s Match: Sami Zayn vs. Finn Bálor
  • Danhausen vs. Dominik Mysterio

The final entrant in the women’s ladder match will be decided between Giulia and Lash Legend on this week’s edition of SmackDown.

Both nights begin at 6 pm ET. SummerSlam will stream through the ESPN App for ESPN Unlimited subscribers in the United States and on Netflix internationally.
