Two of AEW’s newest champs will put their gold on the line tonight.
This evening’s episode of AEW Dynamite from the Masonic Temple Theatre in Detroit, Michigan, is a title triple-header, including a pair of new matches made following Sunday’s Redemption pay-per-view in Montreal.
New TBS Champion Maya World will put her title on the line against CMLL star Persephone as part of tonight’s show. After taking down Hikaru Shida over the weekend, World will try to score another big win by overcoming the current CMLL World Women’s Champion.
Andrade El Idolo will also wager his AEW National Championship in a three-way featuring Nick Wayne and Jungle Jack Perry. Andrade’s long-awaited first AEW title win arrived last weekend when he beat Mark Davis. Now, he looks to overcome the odds against two wrestlers who appeared in Sunday’s physical six-way ladder match.
It was previously announced that Wednesday’s show will feature appearances from world champs Kenny Omega and Willow Nightingale, as well as a trios title showdown which sees The Conglomeration face The Demand.
