WWE’s domestic streaming partner will be introducing a price hike next month.
One year after launching, ESPN Unlimited, the home of WWE’s premium live events, will be increasing its monthly and annual subscription plans.
Jon Lewis of Sports Media Watch broke the news that ESPN Unlimited will increase the monthly subscription rate by $2 to $31.99 per month. Its annual plan will jump from $299.99 per year to $319.99. It is also increasing the pricing of its ESPN Select tier (which doesn’t include WWE events). If you have a bundle subscription with Disney+ and Hulu, there is no price change.
It comes right after Peacock announced its own price increase, which houses WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event shows.
WWE and ESPN entered into a five-year agreement worth $1.6 billion for the domestic streaming rights to all the premium live events.
After a long delay, YouTube TV subscribers gained authentication access to ESPN Unlimited at the beginning of August.
The first WWE PLE under the new pricing structure will be the Money in the Bank show on October 10.
