YouTube TV subscribers have begun gaining access to ESPN Unlimited through the ESPN app, providing another route to watch WWE premium live events.
The development was first reported by Cord Cutters News, which found that some subscribers could connect their YouTube TV and ESPN accounts. Once linked, ESPN Unlimited was listed as part of their existing television subscription.
Users can find the option by opening YouTube TV’s settings and selecting the Sports section. The “Connect ESPN” feature redirects them to an ESPN activation page, where they can sign in and authorize the connection.
Programming then remains accessible through the separate ESPN app rather than directly through YouTube TV.
WWE’s US premium live events are included with the ESPN Unlimited plan.
However, the integration appears to be undergoing a soft launch. Neither YouTube TV nor ESPN had issued a formal announcement at the time of publication, while some people commenting on the initial report said they remained unable to activate ESPN Unlimited.
YouTube executive Christian Oestlien indicated that further developments were coming when responding to a post on X today.

The rollout follows a multi-year distribution agreement reached between YouTube TV and Disney in November. That deal provided for ESPN Unlimited to become available to YouTube TV subscribers at no additional cost, along with access to some of its programming within the YouTube TV service.
Its timing means subscribers who receive access should be able to authenticate into the ESPN app for SummerSlam. The two-night event streams Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2 at 6 pm ET for ESPN Unlimited subscribers in the United States.
Availability may continue to vary while the account-linking feature rolls out.
