Purchasers of RevPro’s 14-Year Anniversary Show on MyAEW did not receive the advertised Leon Slater vs. Liam Slater match on Saturday.
The event took place at OVO Arena Wembley in London, where TNA-contracted Leon defeated Liam.
The show streamed through both RevPro’s own service and the MyAEW platform. However, viewers reported that the two broadcasts diverged when it came time for the Slater match.
A purchaser posting on Reddit said the MyAEW stream went into an extended intermission of RevPro promo packages following FTR’s match with Cowboy Way.
When the broadcast returned for the Revolution Gauntlet, commentary referred to the Slater match as having already taken place.
Many similar complaints appeared across various social media platforms, with viewers questioning why the match had been unavailable specifically through MyAEW, and some pointing the finger at TNA.
Neither AEW, RevPro nor TNA had publicly explained the discrepancy at the time of writing.
The incident follows previous disputes involving TNA-contracted wrestlers and AEW-related bookings. In April, TNA pulled Slater from a previously approved match against Ricochet, while Nic Nemeth was prevented from facing MJF and Moose was withdrawn from a Maple Leaf Pro appearance. TNA cited “partner conflicts.”
TNA President Carlos Silva later said those decisions were his and said the company had to protect its business.
Saturday’s circumstances differ from the earlier cases because Leon was not facing an AEW-contracted wrestler. Instead, the apparent distinction was distribution: his match was shown on the RevPro on-demand service but was not made available to viewers who purchased the event through the AEW-owned platform.
