AEW’s tribute to Benjamin Satterley, a.k.a. Pac, was an emotional night for everyone at home and in Pittsburgh, which got one final word from Jon Moxley.

Dynamite ended with a tribute video to Pac and the Death Riders standing over a chair, and after the show went off the air, Moxley took a mic to address the Pittsburgh crowd. He thanked everyone for being there and for being a great audience, understanding that this was not the show they expected when they bought a ticket. He then shared a memory of Pac that still sticks with him.

I wanted to share this one thing that Pac said one time that was one of my favorite lines anybody’s every said that was specific to us. He was sitting in a sauna in my basement, doing a promo just because we thought it would be funny for him to be sitting in a sauna just like sweating, being the bastard, miserable. Just describing who we are, what this team is, what we do every single day, and he said — forgive my language — he said, “We are professionals who give a shit.” And it’s probably my favorite thing anybody has ever said. It’s what we aspire to. It’s just a cooler, funner way to say what we aspire to every single day.

Not everybody is a pro wrestler. Maybe you do something else, but whatever you do with your time while you’re here every single day, give a shit. If you’re going to do something, do it well. If you’re gonna cook an omlete, if you’re going to go to your job, if you’re going to pick your kids up from school and take them to the park, whatever it is you do, do it with purpose and give a shit. Do it with purpose and gratitude and surround yourself with people that you love, that also give a shit about the same things you, and I don’t know because I don’t know anything, but that might be the key to life.

Moxley was referencing an episode of “Close-Up” with Renee Paquette that was released on Jan. 28, 2025, where the first vision of the Death Riders was explained.

AEW released Moxley’s message to the crowd on their socials.
