Jay White is expected to miss one to two months of action after suffering an undisclosed injury, AEW announced on Saturday.
Tony Schiavone provided the update during Collision, attributing White’s absence to the “physicality” of last weekend’s eight-man Tailgate Brawl ahead of All Out.
Nigel McGuinness first noted on commentary that White was “not in the best of health” following the match, prompting Schiavone to elaborate.
We understand Jay White will be out one to two months as a result of the physicality that he encountered from what you saw.
AEW did not disclose the nature of White’s injury or identify a specific moment during the match when it occurred.
White teamed with Ace Austin, Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn in the Tailgate Brawl, defeating David Finlay, Clark Connors, Wheeler Yuta & Daniel Garcia.
White ultimately secured the victory for the Bang Bang Gang by hitting Yuta with the Blade Runner.
Saturday’s announcement comes only a few months after White returned from a lengthy injury absence.
He suffered a broken hand in March 2025 and was forced to withdraw from that year’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
White remained out for more than a year before returning at Forbidden Door in June.
