Baszler and Serrano are back together with gold in their hands.
The former WWE duo of Shayna Baszler and Zoey Serrano captured the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championships on Sunday night, beating the team of Allie and Kiera Hogan in just under nine minutes.
The finish saw Serrano toss Allie into a knee strike from Baszler. Right after landing the blow to the head, Baszler locked in a sleeper which put Allie out cold to end the match.
Allie paid tribute to late teammate Andy “The Butcher” Williams earlier in the match. After shouting “For Andy,” Allie connected with one of his signature moves, the Half -Nelson Backbreaker.
Allie captured the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championships earlier this year alongside DemonXBunny tag partner Rosemary. After Rosemary was sidelined with an injury, Hogan made her return to TNA and took the “Demon’s” place at the company’s Lockdown pay-per-view event.
Serrano made her TNA debut over the summer, signing with the company after wrapping up a multi-year run in WWE. Looking to pursue the Knockouts tag titles, Serrano reunited with Pure Fusion Collective teammate Baszler on this weekend’s card to begin a title reign.
