Steve Austin has not been in contact with anyone about that.

The conclusion of WWE’s Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event saw John Cena win the men’s Elimination Chamber match to secure a shot at Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41.

Post-match, Cena low-blowed Rhodes and aligned himself with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

Cena’s change in character was brought up to Stone Cold Steve Austin during an interview with The Schmo. Austin had this to say about Cena’s heel turn:

Hey! It had to happen sooner or later. Finally, it happened so, it’ll be interesting to see whether the people accept him as a heel or has he turned himself more babyfaced. I think it remains to be seen as the story unfolds but, nonetheless, they’ve kicked off an epic build into WrestleMania and that’s what they do every single year and this year, it’s here in Las Vegas so, it’s gonna be pretty damn awesome.

Following up on that, he was asked if he’ll be helping Cody. Austin stated that he has not been in contact with anyone, but added that anything could happen.

Hey! I haven’t been in contact with anybody so, I guess anything could happen but I’m here to run to The Mint 400 and that’s what my sights are set on. I’m not looking to Mania. I’m looking to The Mint 400. I got a brand-new left knee. This is my first race back so I’m gonna go out there and kick ass and see if I can do as well as I can.

In a 2024 interview with Adrian Hernandez, Steve Austin revealed he was ‘close’ to appearing at WrestleMania XL and as for this year’s show, he’d be there for Rhodes if he needs a hand.
