Sabu passes away at 60 years old

At the age of 60, Sabu has passed away.

On Sunday, PWInsider was first to report that Terry Brunk, real name Sabu, passed away the at the age of 60 years old. It was on April 18th that Brunk had his retirement match at GCW/Joey Janela’s Spring Break. A cause of death has not been disclosed.

Rob Van Dam and All Elite Wrestling posted tributes on social media. Joining in to pay homage to the late Sabu were Francine, Matt Cardona, GCW owner Brett Lauderdale and NJPW commentator Walker Stewart.

The Michigan native began his in-ring career in 1985. He made his way through a multitude of promotions and companies throughout his career such as ECW, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, WWE, TNA, All Japan, AEW, AAA and more.
