Recovery has been going well for Apollo Crews.

A few months after he first announced that a torn pec put him on the sidelines, Crews has given fans an update that his rehabilitation process has been going in the right direction.

“Been crushin the rehab,” he said on Instagram this week. “Feeling good. I never really had any physical pain, but it took a while to get my mental game right after the injury happened. I’m over that hump now. Just waking up [and] taking it day by day and putting in the work.”

Crews confirmed back in February that he had undergone surgery for a torn pec. The 37-year-old mentioned at the time that the injury emerged during a January appearance on Smackdown.

While Crews has suffered previous setbacks since he joined WWE in 2015, none have kept him out of the ring as long as his current injury. It’s unclear when the former WWE Intercontinental and U.S. champion specifically could be back on TV.
