Trey Miguel says he will undergo ‘minor’ hernia surgery after TNA Slammiversary

The Rascalz member Trey Miguel says he’ll be undergoing a “minor” surgery after TNA’s Slammiversary event next week.

Miguel was pulled from action during the TNA’s TV tapings in Pennsylvania last month, with the promotion noting that a hernia injury had removed him from competition. On Thursday’s episode of Impact, he was replaced by Myron Reed, a returning Rascalz member who teamed with Zachary Wentz.

Miguel commented on his injury in a recent social media post, confirming that he will undergo surgery after the upcoming event.

“After Slammiversary I will undergo hernia surgery,” Miguel wrote on X. “I was given a choice and I chose to be there. I will give it my absolute best because that’s what TNA deserves and you the fans. A full recovery is expected as this is a minor surgery. Thank you all for the well wishes and messages. Apologies to anyone I missed and didn’t get to reply to.”

The Rascalz are set to compete in a four-way tag team ladder match as part of the July 20 card at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. The match will also feature The Hardys, First Class, and the defending team of The Nemeths.
