KENTA has won Pro Wrestling NOAH’s top prize from Kenoh after a historically short one-day reign.
Kenoh won the GHC Heavyweight Championship from Ozawa (Taishi Ozawa) on Saturday during day one of the two-day NOAH 25th anniversary event, New Departure.
Right after Kenoh’s win, he accepted a challenge for Sunday from KENTA.
The 43-year-old captured the title after hitting the Go 2 Sleep to cap off a 28-minute main event at Korakuen Hall.

It is KENTA’s second reign as GHC Heavyweight Champion. He first held it in 2014, before leaving NOAH to join WWE NXT as Hideo Itami.
Kenoh’s one-day reign is the shortest in the history of the title, which was instituted in 2001 and first held by Mitsuharu Misawa.
NOAH founder Kenta Kobashi presented the title belt to his namesake in the ring.
Naomichi Marufuji declared himself the next challenger for the prize.
