AEW Dynamite on August 6 drew its second-largest audience of the year, achieving its best viewership and key demographic rating since June.

According to data from Wrestlenomics, the show averaged 711,000 viewers on TBS and a 0.18 rating in the P18-49 demographic. These figures represent a 16 percent increase in total viewership and a 20 percent increase in the demo from the previous week.

The data does not include the show’s simulcast on HBO Max.

Dynamite’s most-watched episode of 2025 so far is the Grand Slam: Mexico special on June 18, which drew 736,000 viewers and a 0.21 rating in the P18-49 demo.

That made this week’s episode the second-most-watched edition of Dynamite this year.

The program ranked second on cable for the night, behind an episode of South Park on Comedy Central

The show’s peak quarter-hour was from 8:45 to 9:00 p.m. ET, drawing 766,000 viewers and 263,000 in the P18-49 demo. This segment featured the aftermath of a match involving Mercedes Moné, Toni Storm, and Athena, along with a live promo from Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher.

The main event segment featuring Mark Briscoe vs. MJF grew four percent from the final quarter-hour into the 12-minute overrun.

Tony Khan took to social media on Thursday to tout the performance of the episode.
