The next WWE Women’s World Champion will be crowned at Wrestlepalooza.

Stephanie Vaquer and IYO SKY will battle it out for the vacant title at WWE’s September 20 Premium Live Event, which is scheduled to go down at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The matchup was announced on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

Before Naomi vacated the top Raw-brand women’s title last month due to pregnancy, both Vaquer and SKY had a case for a shot at the champ.

SKY was scheduled to face Naomi for the title on an August episode of Raw, although that match got scrapped after the then-champ was not medically cleared to compete.

And Vaquer prevailed in a 20-woman battle royal at Evolution back in July, which earned her a shot at the title which was originally scheduled to happen at Clash in Paris.

With both presenting a solid case for a future title shot, they were the clear top candidates to face off for the vacant belt in just a few weeks.

If successful, SKY will begin her third reign with a main roster singles title and hold the world title for a second time this year. She previously held the belt from March to July, dropping the belt at Evolution.

While Vaquer held two titles during her brief NXT run, she has yet to grab gold in her rookie year as a main roster talent. However, that could change in a matter of weeks.

The women’s title bout is the first matchup to join Wrestlepalooza, which will be WWE’s first PLE as part of a multi-year deal with ESPN. WWE has previously also promoted that the event will feature John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre.
