Two women from the Tuesday night brand will get a shot at Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair soon.
An elimination triple threat tag match on next week’s episode of NXT will determine who will get a shot at the main roster WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships sometime in the future. The matchup was confirmed by NXT General Manager Ava on Tuesday night.
The three-way match will feature Sol Ruca & Zaria, Fatal Influence’s Jazmyn Nyx & Fallon Henley, and The Culling’s Izzi Dame & Tatum Paxley. It’s unclear when the winning team would get a shot at Flair and Bliss, who have held the tag belts since Summerslam, when they dethroned Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.
Along with the high-stakes #1 contenders bout, two other matches were confirmed for next week’s NXT, which will be taped at the Performance Center.
In his first in-ring appearance since losing a title fight against Oba Femi, Je’Von Evans will take on Josh Briggs.
Briggs played a cruel prank on an already defeated Evans this week, making the recent title contender believe he was being paid a visit by The Undertaker before revealing it was him. After attacking Evans in the ring on Tuesday, the match was made official.
And in a Canada vs. USA rivalry that has carried on for weeks, Ethan Page and Tavion Heights will face off in a flag match.
Here’s a look at the lineup for next week’s show:
- Ethan Page vs. Tavion Heights (Flag Match)
- Jazmyn Nyx & Fallon Henley vs. Sol Ruca & Zaria vs. Izzi Dame & Tatum Paxley (WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships #1 Contenders Match) (Elimination Triple Threat Tag Match)
- Je’Von Evans vs. Josh Briggs
