AEW Collision fell to its lowest viewership level of all time, running against multiple college football games.

The August 30 episode from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia averaged 195,000 viewers and 54,000 viewers (0.04) in the 18-49 demographic on TNT and excluding streaming viewership on HBO Max.

It was Collision’s lowest viewership, excluding shows that aired outside of its regular timeslot or on a different night. The previous low point for a non-pre-empted episode was 197,000 viewers on February 1, 2025, airing against the WWE Royal Rumble.

The show fell 31 percent in overall viewership and decreased by 42.5 percent in the 18-49 demographic from last week.

The 18-49 audience was the show’s lowest since the February 1 episode airing against the Royal Rumble and the second-lowest in the show’s history for a regular airing of Collision.

In the core demo, males dropped by 44 percent and women fell by 39 percent from the previous week’s episode.

Collision ranked tenth among cable programs on Saturday, which was led by ESPN’s coverage of Texas vs. San Antonio (1,023,000 viewers and 0.25 in 18-49). Collision also aired against FS1’s coverage of Albany vs. Iowa (0.16), a Big Ten Network game involving Missouri State and USC (0.07).

It also faced stiff competition on network television with LSU vs. Clemson on ABC (9,787,000 viewers and 2.51 in 18-49), New Mexico vs. Michigan State (2,060,000 viewers and 0.46), and Fox’s airing of Baseball Night in America.

This past Saturday’s Collision was the third of seven events during AEW’s residency at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. This weekend’s show will include a rematch between Jon Moxley and Daniel Garcia.
