Jazmyn Nyx has confirmed that her time as a wrestler in NXT has come to an end.
The 27-year-old footballer turned wrestler was written off TV on Tuesday, getting mysteriously attacked backstage and booted out of Fatal Influence, a group which also features Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley.
Hours after that segment aired, reports surfaced that Nyx decided not to re-sign with WWE, confirming that she would part ways with the company once her deal is officially up.
Nyx confirmed the news in a recent post to her personal TikTok page.
“As you know, there’s been things circulating,” Nyx, also known as Jade Gentile, said. “I kind of want to just set the record straight that I am not re-signing with WWE. This was a personal decision I had to make for myself and for my future. Personally, the contract that they were offering me for the next three years just wasn’t going to cut it for me financially, and that’s okay.”
Nyx went on to later mention that she is eyeing other opportunities, but wouldn’t specify what is next for her.
“There’s been a lot of opportunities that I’ve had to turn down and pass up. But, now that I’m out of the job, I can kind of explore these opportunities more and take them more seriously. Love my Jazmyn Nyx fans, thank you guys so much for supporting me and having my back for the past three years. It’s been an amazing journey, and I will miss you guys.”
Nyx signed with WWE in 2022 after a career in college and Iceland as a soccer player. She joined Fatal Influence in 2024, orbiting her around Jayne’s main title feuds in both NXT and TNA over the past year.
