Family Matters
Monday Night Raw from Raleigh, NC, kicked off with Rhea Ripley addressing Asuka turning on Iyo Sky last week. Ripley said they crossed the line and that they were going to settle things in the ring tonight. This brought out Iyo Sky, who came out looking despondent. Iyo said that Rhea was right about Asuka and Kairi, but they are her family, and she still loves them. Asuka and Kairi then appeared on the screen in a strange video with numerous weird edits and subtitles. Asuka demanded an apology from Iyo and said Rhea is not her family.

Back in the ring, Rhea told Asuka to go to hell and asked Iyo to trust her. Iyo said she was sorry, and she needs time. With that, she left the ring as Asuka and Sane jumped Ripley from behind. Sky struggled with whether or not to get involved, but finally did so, throwing Asuka off of Rhea. Kairi got on her knees, pleading for her to stop. Asuka then sprayed the “poison mist” into the eyes of Iyo Sky. The Kabuki Warriors then decimated Ripley, finishing off with the Insane Elbow.

Intercontinental Championship
The first match of the night was Dominik Mysterio defending his Intercontinental Championship against Rusev. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh accompanied Dom to the ring but left him once they got to ringside. Also worth noting is that during the traditional walk-ins, as Raw started, Dom ran into Los Americanos and gave them a nod of recognition.
Rusev dominated the early portion of this match as Dominik fought from underneath, much to the crowd’s delight. Rusev hit his Machka Kick for a big nearfall. That was followed up with an attempt at The Accolade, but Dom wiggled out of it and picked up his belts to leave. Rusev dragged him back into the ring, and Dom played Eddie Guerrero, cheating behind the referee’s back. The finish saw Dom hit a low blow, followed by a roll-up with a handful of tights.
There's a reason they call him "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio… ?

Footage from earlier in the day was shown, with Adam Pearce saying it was a terrible idea to make him the referee at Wrestlepalooza. Knight said he wanted his title shot against Seth Rollins. The New Day interrupted, saying they were owed a Tag Team title shot. Knight then challenged Kofi Kingston to a match, and Adam Pearce made it official.
The first part of another well-produced video package aired, featuring the history between Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.

Backstage, Bayley approached Lyra Valkyria whilst wearing a Lyra t-shirt and asked her to be in her corner tonight when she faces Raquel Rodriguez. Bayley admitted that she’s been going through a lot lately since WrestleMania, but she can’t do it without her. Lyra turned her down, saying she couldn’t give her any more chances. With that, Bayley took the Lyra shirt off and headed toward the ring.
Bayley vs. Raquel Rodriguez
Next was Bayley taking on Raquel Rodriguez, who was accompanied by Roxanne Perez. Bayley got in a few licks of offense, but overall, Rodriguez was in control going into the ad break. Bayley began to mount a comeback with a shoutout to Jeff Hardy, coming off the top rope with a Swanton.

As expected, Roxanne Perez got involved behind the referee’s back, raking Bayley’s eyes as she applied a Figure Four. Rodriguez then hit the Tejana Bomb for the win. After the match, the two started a beatdown of Bayley when Lyra Valkyria ran down to help (albeit pausing to consider whether it was a good idea or not). Lyra was quickly double-teamed when Bayley recovered and fought off both heels. Bayley then helped Lyra up and laughed hysterically as Lyra didn’t know how to react.

The Usos were getting ready for their match backstage when Jimmy asked Jey about walking off last week. Jey said that Jimmy didn’t get it, and he was doing it his way.
Iyo Sky, looking like a blue/green Hulk, was approached by Kairi backstage, who asked her to apologize to Asuka. Sky then hulked out, screaming at Kairi to leave her alone. Kairi left crying, leaving behind a picture of the three of them.

LA Knight vs. Kofi Kingston
The next match was set up in an earlier video with LA Knight taking on Kofi Kingston. During the ad break, LA Knight started complaining about having to wait in the ring and asked for a microphone, saying, “If I’m out here, I might as well talk.” Unfortunately, he was not allowed a microphone. As the match began, the announce team noted that Grayson Waller was not there after getting hit with the Mexican Destroyer last week. Xavier Woods quickly made his presence known, distracting Knight and allowing Kingston to take control.

Woods tried to get involved again later on, only to be taken out by Knight. Kingston tried to take advantage with a roll-up and feet on the rope, but failed. Knight then countered a Trouble in Paradise attempt with a BFT for the win.
Backstage, Tozawa was pumping up Maxxine Dupri when Becky Lynch interrupted and ran her down. Lynch then decked Tozawa and then attacked Maxxine until officials pulled her away. Becky then went to Seth Rollins, who was still fixated on his watch. Rollins declined Becky and Paul Heyman’s help, saying that he would “do this one” on his own.

During an ad break, Dominik Mysterio was interviewed and asked about his upcoming AAA Mega Championship match against Dragon Lee. Penta interrupted and said the Intercontinental Championship was his.
Cleanse the Timeline
Seth Rollins was out next for an in-ring promo, talking about how he has not beaten Cody Rhodes once in three attempts. Rollins said the past didn’t matter, and he is the one to lead WWE into the future. This brought out Rhodes, who asked if Rollins allowed Paul Heyman to announce Brock Lesnar. Rollins said every decision ran through him. Rhodes brought up Rollins, helping him conquer Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, and he thought they were friends. Rollins became agitated at this point, stating that Rhodes was merely the lesser of two evils, and at Crown Jewel, he would rectify the timeline and finally emerge victorious.

Backstage, Iyo Sky was still covered in mist and admitted to Rhea Ripley that she was right about Asuka. Sky said that she talked to Pearce, and they will be facing the Kabuki Warriors at Crown Jewel.

AJ Styles & Dragon Lee vs. Los Americanos
Next up, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee took on Los Americanos. Before the match, Dragon Lee cut a promo talking about how he was the #1 Contender for the AAA Mega Championship, and he was coming for Dom. Styles then thanked the crowd for getting him his match against John Cena at Crown Jewel (the reality is that this match had been previously planned). Styles said that tonight they “kick Los Americonas [sic] ass”.

As Los Americanos came down to the ring, Joe Tessitore revealed that the non-Grande Americanos had the names “Bravo” and “Rio” (spelling unconfirmed). AJ Styles had set up for the Phenomenal Forearm when El Grande Americano got involved behind the referee’s back. Dragon Lee hit a Tope to the outside on Rio, and Styles hit the Styles Clash on Bravo for the win.

The Usos vs. The Brons
The Vision (donned in new spiky “Vision” jackets) was shown in Gorilla getting ready for their Torndao Tag match when Seth Rollins looked rattled. He said he had to beat Cody Rhodes. The Brons paused at ringside before entering the ring, and The Usos jumped them as the bell rang. Action was fast and furious for this main event, with Bron Breakker putting Jimmy Uso through the announce table as the show took its final commercial break.

Upon return, the announce team claimed that Jimmy was stuck under around 300 lbs. of debris (the reality was that it was their two chairs and one small part of the table). Jimmy miraculously recovered in time to stop Reed from going for the Tsunami. The Brons then stacked Jimmy and Jey and appeared to be going for a Double Tsunami when Roman Reigns returned and attacked Reed and Breakker with a chair.

Luckily for The Usos, this was a Tornado tag, so they weren’t disqualified. Joe Tessitore explained that Reigns was hospitalized after Clash in Paris, and he was back for revenge. The Usos hit dual Uso Splashes on Bron Breakker for the win.
