Champion-versus-champion action will kick things off tonight at the Performance Center.

Both the TNA and NXT tag titles will be on the line in the opening bout of this evening’s “Showdown,” a co-promoted TV special which pits the two weekly wrestling brands against eachother.

Just days out from their Bound for Glory match against Team 3-D, Matt and Jeff Hardy will put their TNA World Tag Team Championships on the line. NXT’s DarkState quartet will wager its NXT Tag Team Championships. It’ll be double-or-nothing, as one team could leave with double the gold, while the other could head home empty-handed.

DarkState have held the tag titles since August, when they dethroned Hank and Tank at Heatwave. They have since retained the titles once, overcoming the former champs in a rematch on TV.

The Hardys earned their tag titles at Slammiversary in July, prevailing in a four-way ladder match to end the reign of The Nemeths. This evening’s bout will be their first NXT appearance since March, when they faced Fraxiom at Roadblock.

The main focus of Tuesday night’s show on the CW will be a pair of Survivor Series-style elimination tag matches, with Team NXT going up against Team TNA. Here’s an updated look at this evening’s show:

  • Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy vs. Dion Lennox & Osiris Griffin (TNA & NXT Tag Team Championships)
  • Ethan Page vs. Mustafa Ali (NXT North American Championship)
  • Jacy Jayne, Sol Ruca, Lola Vice & Jaida Parker vs. Kelani Jordan, Mara Sadè, Cassie Lee & Jessie McKay (NXT vs. TNA Survivor Series Match)
  • Ricky Saints, Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans & Myles Borne vs. Mike Santana, Leon Slater, Moose & Frankie Kazarian (NXT vs. TNA Survivor Series Match)
