Live from Perth
SmackDown from Perth kicked off with Cody Rhodes in the ring with the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship. Rhodes discussed being Seth Rollins’ Achilles’ Heel. The crowd then chanted “Seth is a wanker” and Cody asked Michael Cole to repeat on the microphone what they were chanting. Cody threw the microphone to Cole, but he passed it to Wade Barrett, and he repeated the phrase, much to the crowd’s delight. With that, Cody said that he had to continue to be the one that Rollins couldn’t beat.

Backstage, Chelsea Green told Stephanie Vaquer that she has “it” and offered her a job in her Secret Hervice. Tiffany Stratton appeared, and Vaquer said that they would have each other’s backs tonight, but tomorrow everything would be different.
Cody Rhodes ran into Jacob Fatu backstage, with Fatu stating that after Crown Jewel, he would be after the WWE title. Cody said “good” and walked away. Nick Aldis then appeared and congratulated Fatu on leveling up in real time, asking him to come to his office. Drew McIntyre then jumped Fatu, and when Aldis returned, Drew screamed that he needed to talk to him.

United States Championship Open Challenge
Sami Zayn was out next for his US Title Open Challenge, which Shinsuke Nakamura answered. Thankfully, Nakamura was back to his original theme song.

The crowd was very much into this match, cheering for both men with a slight lean to Zayn. The two went back and forth for a bit when Nakamura missed a Kinshasha but was hit with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Sami Zayn then went for the Helluva Kick and missed, allowing Nakamura to hit what Michael Cole described as Kinshasha from the second rope (it doesn’t really work that way) for a two count. After an ad break, Nakamura hit the Kinshasha to the back of the head of Zayn, but he was able to roll out of the ring to avoid the pin and then hit an Exploder and Helluva Kick on the outside. As they got back into the ring, Nakamura hit another Kinshasa, but Zayn got his foot on the ropes.

Nakamura set up for another Kinshasha but was attacked by a masked man who was revealed to be Tama Tonga. The rest of the MFTs swiftly joined him as they beat down Zayn and Nakamura four on two. Solo Sikoa then appeared, and the crowd responded with a less-than-kind chant.
Los de MFT ahora salen con pinturas en la cara, pero para mí el único que se salva de ahí (a excepción de Solo Sikoa) es Tama Tonga.

Backstage, Nick Aldis asked a referee to get Solo SIkoa because he needed to speak to him. McIntyre reappeared, and Aldis said that next week in San Jose, he would face Jacob Fatu one-on-one. Fatu then jumped at McIntyre, and they had to be separated by referees.

Next up was the two WWE Women’s Champions, Tiffany Stratton and Stephanie Vaquer, teaming up to take on Giulia and Kiana James. Early on, Vaquer hit James with the Devil’s Kiss. We then built to a hot tag on Stratton after a commercial break.

Stratton was clearly the crowd favorite in this match as Giuila hit her with Arriverderci, but Vaquer made the save. Vaquer then dove onto Giulia on the outside as Stratton made the blind tag and hit the PME ever for the win. After the match, both women held up their titles while standing in front of the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship.

WWE Tag Team Championship
Next, The Wyatt Sicks defended their Tag titles against The Street Profits. As the match began, a giant sign right at ringside read “Unify the Tag Belts”. Things went back and forth for a bit as the show went to break. After coming back, the Profits hit a Double Blockbuster on the Wyatts, but Nikki Cross put Wyatt’s foot on the rope. B-Fab then attacked Cross, and both Profits dove onto Erick Rowan. Ford went for From the Heavens but missed, and the Wyatts hit “The Plague” for the clean win.
Suddenly, the MFTs reappeared and squared off against the Wyatts, with Solo Sikoa standing in the middle of them all. Nikki Cross got in Solo’s face, and the MFTs backed down.

Footage was shown of The Miz turning on Carmelo Hayes last week, and Miz was interviewed, asking why. Miz said everyone who gets close to him either rises with him or falls beneath him.

Footage was then shown from the Crown Jewel Kickoff show, where Seth Rollins walked off the stage after Paul Heyman introduced him.
Last Man Standing
Next was the Last Man Standing Match between Aleister Black and Damian Priest. Action immediately spilled to the outside as Priest began assaulting Black with the steel steps. After the ad break, another sign appeared that said, “Please Explain Travis Scott.” Priest attempted a South of Heaven, but was blocked as Black hit a Meteora on Priest onto the steel steps, but Priest was able to get up with the assistance of the ropes.

Priest then hit the pounce on Black, dropping him onto the announce table. Black then grabbed a chair and hit Priest, only to be chokeslammed on the apron and then given two consecutive Razor’s Edges on the announce table. Action then spilled into the crowd as they found their way to a suspicious-looking riser right in front of the crowd. Suddenly, Zelina Vega appeared, getting between them and begging Priest to stop. Black told her to get out of the way and hit Priest with a fireball, hitting him with the Black Mass and sending him off the platform and through a table. Aleister Black won and left arm and arm with Zelina Vega.
