Stephanie Vaquer is now not only the WWE Women’s World Champion, but also the 2025 WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Champion.
Vaquer handed Tiffany Stratton her first singles loss of 2025 on Saturday night, earning a pinfall victory in 10 minutes to prevail in the champion-versus-champion bout at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. Neither woman’s main title was on the line in this match.
Vaquer avoided a Prettiest Moonsault Ever from Stratton in the final minute of their match, giving her the opening to connect with a Corkscrew Splash for the pinfall victory.
The Raw women’s talent had another big moment just prior to the finish, putting up her knees to block a Swanton Bomb from Stratton, then following up with a Devil’s Kiss.
Vaquer said in a post-match interview that the title represented all the motivation and support fans have given her as of late.
Stratton has been the most dominant woman on Smackdown in 2025, having not previously lost in a singles bout this year. She started her title reign on the first show of 2025, cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase to dethrone Nia Jax. She has defended her title nine times since then.
Vaquer is much earlier into her title reign, only claiming the vacant WWE Women’s World Championship last month at Wrestlepalooza with a 19-minute win over IYO SKY. She earned a shot at the title by winning a battle royal at Evolution in July, but had the opportunity delayed after then-champ Naomi relinquished her belt due to pregnancy.
Vaquer is the second-ever Women’s Crown Jewel Champion. Liv Morgan earned the inaugural belt in 2024 with a win over Nia Jax.
