Go Shiozaki returned to All Japan Pro-Wrestling on Saturday, immediately challenging for the promotion’s top championship.
His appearance came at the ‘Raising an Army Memorial Series 2025’ event. Shiozaki was revealed as the newest member of the HAVOC faction, joining Shotaro Ashino, Oddyssey (formerly Odyssey Jones in WWE), and Xyon.
Shiozaki then teamed with Ashino to face Triple Crown Champion Kento Miyahara and Hideki Suzuki. The bout ended in a disqualification after Miyahara attacked Shiozaki with a steel chair.
Following the chaotic finish, Shiozaki laid down a challenge for the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship. The title match is now set for October 22 at Korakuen Hall.
The appearance marked Shiozaki’s first time in an AJPW ring in 10 years. He officially departed Pro Wrestling NOAH on September 30 after his contract expired.
Shiozaki and his new rival Miyahara are former AJPW World Tag Team Champions, having held the titles together as the team XCEED in 2015.
