HBO Max is invoking another price hike for the premium streaming service, which houses AEW programming in the United States.
The streamer is raising prices for the second time in the past eighteen months, ranging from $1-2, depending on your plan with HBO Max.
The ad-supported basic plan will increase to $10.99 per month, the standard plan will grow to $18.50 per month, and its premium tier will see a jump by $2 to $22.99 per month. (All prices are in USD).
These rates are being introduced right away, although existing subscribers will not absorb the increases until November 20.
HBO Max joins a list of services hiking its prices with recent upticks initiated by Netflix, Disney+, and Apple TV+.
In October 2024, AEW signed a domestic rights renewal with WBD, which went into effect this past January and includes the ability to stream AEW Dynamite & Collision on HBO Max.
Last month, AEW’s pay-per-views launched on the service, beginning with All Out and continuing with this past weekend’s WrestleDream card. The events require a purchase within HBO Max for existing subscribers.
