Gable Steveson only needed fifteen seconds to stop his latest opponent.

Thursday’s DBX4 (Dirty Boxing) card in Nashville saw the Olympic gold medalist knock out Billy Swanson.

A right hand connected on Swanson with follow ups sending him to the mat as Steveson finished him with several strikes on top. Referee Dan Miragliotta saw enough as he waved it off after fifteen seconds.

Steveson made his MMA debut in September on the LFA 217 card and finished Braden Peterson in 1:38 of the first round.

Swanson, 31, had one pro fight with Bellator in August 2020, losing to Marcelo Golm. In 2022, he lost to Giacomo Lemos in thirty-three seconds on a PFL Challengers event. The loss brings his pro record to 4-3.

UFC matchmaker Mick Maynard attended the fight, and Steveson addressed him during his post-fight speech and said, “I would love to show you more. Hopefully, you believe in me, and I appreciate you.”

Steveson has become a protégé of former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who also attended the fight.
