The second-ever one-on-one meeting between Hangman Adam Page and Samoa Joe just got a special stipulation added to it.
When AEW World Champion Page and The Opps leader Joe face off at Full Gear on November 22 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, they’ll be doing so inside a steel cage. The special rule was announced on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite.
Joe attempted to trap Page inside the AEW Blood & Guts cage alongside Katsuyori Shibata on Wednesday so he could perform a two-on-one beatdown. After Page escaped the predicament, he suggested that their matchup at Full Gear be contested inside a cage.
“If you wanted me inside of a steel cage, all you had to do was ask, dumbass,” Page said.

It was confirmed just minutes later that the upcoming bout will indeed take place within a cage.
Page defended his title against Joe at WrestleDream last month in a 19-minute contest. The Opps leader has a second chance to gain the title in a little over a week’s time when he faces Page in the rematch.
If successful, Joe will kick off his second-ever run with the belt.
