Anti-ICE chants followed Brody King across the world for today’s AEW Grand Slam Australia show.
In King’s first appearance in front of a live crowd since the February 4 episode of Dynamite in Las Vegas, chants of ‘F—k ICE’ were very audible at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney.
Fan footage was shared from those in attendance, where the chant can be heard as the match between MJF and Brody King begins.

The Las Vegas audience began chanting the anti-ICE sentiment on last week’s episode, which led to multiple mainstream outlets covering the story and arguably the most mainstream attention AEW has received.
King wasn’t on this past Wednesday’s show in Ontario, California. After a report that he was held off due to the chant and political implications for WBD, the parent company of TBS issued a sternly worded statement denying that they interfered with King’s ability to appear.
The match between MJF and Brody King will air tonight on TNT and HBO Max in the U.S. at 8 p.m. ET.
