WWE wants to get Bad Bunny back into the mix.

A little under two weeks after Puerto Rico’s Bad Bunny rocked the NFL Super Bowl stage, a report has surfaced that WWE is hoping to bring the mega-star back into their programming.

WWE has reached out to representatives for the recording artist recently to ask about his interest in being involved with this year’s Wrestlemania card, per a new report from Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select.

The report says WWE is interested in having him at the event, whether it be a match or simply just an appearance. While conversations were “positive,” they noted that it’s “unclear where things ultimately stand at this time” regarding his presence at the show.

While Bad Bunny has been an incredibly popular artist for years, he’s currently riding the momentum of his San Francisco Super Bowl performance, one of the largest music platforms of the year.

The performance averaged 128 million viewers as it happened, per reports. A replay of the performance on Youtube shows that another 105 million have tuned in to watch or re-watch the 13-minute show after it aired earlier this month.

Bad Bunny is no newcomer to the world of wrestling. He has wrestled three matches over the years, first making his in-ring debut at Wrestlemania 37 in 2021. His last appearance saw him battle with Damian Priest in a 25-minute Street Fight as part of Backlash 2023 in his home of Puerto Rico.

Bad Bunny said in an early 2025 interview that he wants to wrestle again someday: “I want to do it one more time,” he told Rolling Stone.
