AJ Styles made it clear he is not going to AEW and that he plans to continue working with WWE.

During an appearance on Talk N Shop with Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows, Styles reacted to speculation about his future:

Everybody wants to say, ‘Oh, WWE put him in the Hall of Fame so that he couldn’t go to AEW. Guys, I’m retired from wrestling, in the ring, like, that’s all this is. I make my own choices; I make my own decisions. I was ready.

Later in the chat, Styles disclosed that he will continue working with WWE:

I’m still going to be working with WWE, that’s not going to change. I have these dreams and aspirations of helping out the younger talent and helping them get ready. If somebody isn’t ready, hopefully, get to that point where they can be confident when they go into the ring…being able to help with that is a blessing. I’m so excited.

Styles was the focus of Raw this past Monday at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta with a show-closing tribute segment after his match with Gunther at the Royal Rumble.

The show ended with an appearance by The Undertaker to inform Styles he would be part of this year’s Hall of Fame class with Stephanie McMahon and would be inducted over WrestleMania 42 weekend in Las Vegas.
