TNA President Carlos Silva has recognized referee Alice Lane and wrestler Eddie Edwards for their handling of Steve Maclin’s injury scare at the Sacrifice special.

Maclin appeared stunned by an inadvertent heavy kick to the chin during the main event of Sacrifice. However, the wrestler took to social media on Saturday to confirm his recovery.

Maclin addressed his supporters online:

“Thanks everyone for the calls, texts, and tweets. You can’t F**king kill me. I’M BULLETPROOF. #MACLIN”

Silva presented Lane and Edwards with “All-Star Awards” ahead of Saturday’s TNA television tapings. The promotion instituted the internal honor in May 2025 to highlight standout staff and roster members.

Lane officiated the championship match and quickly stopped the contest after Maclin appeared to be in trouble. She expressed gratitude to the locker room for their trust during the situation:

“Thank you guys for listening and trusting me, Santana and Steve, because it was a situation. But thank you everyone for handling it the way that we did. And he’s okay.”

Edwards received a bonus award for his impromptu run-in. His unscripted brawl with Santana allowed medical personnel time to safely remove Maclin from the ring. Silva praised the veteran for stepping up to salvage a difficult scenario.

Edwards said:

“Unfortunately in wrestling we all know that happens. The important thing is, we’re all here to support each other and be there to help out when we need to. And you know, the great thing about this locker room is, it’s not about one person, it’s about everybody. So, this is a team effort, I’m just happy that last night I was the one who helped the team.”

Earlier on Saturday, it was reported that Maclin had cleared medical tests at a hospital and had escaped a concussion diagnosis.
