Over half a dozen MLW names have been confirmed for the promotion’s upcoming trip to Mexico.

As part of an MLW vs. CMLL card set for May 1 in Arena Mexico, the American independent promotion will be bringing over many of its top names. Eight wrestlers were confirmed to appear as part of the cross-promotional show on Wednesday night’s episode of CMLL Informa.

Among those making the trip will be: Shotzi, Trevor Lee, Ikuro Kwon, Donovan Dijak, Bishop Dyer, Diego Hill, KUSHIDA and Lady Frost.

Shotzi currently holds MLW’s Women’s World Featherweight Championship, and KUSHIDA has the brand’s middleweight title. Dyer and Dijak, known as The Skyscrapers, are MLW’s current tag champs. Trevor Lee and Lady Frost are being announced for this event shortly after news broke last week that they reached deals to join MLW.

The event will be a return of sorts for Lady Frost, who has made numerous CMLL appearances over the years. She appeared 10 times for the brand last year near the tail-end of her AEW deal, including a March 2025 matchup that saw her challenge women’s tag champs Las Chicas Indomables.
