The full card for a special CMLL vs. MLW show set for next month has been revealed.
The May 1st show from Arena Mexico in Mexico City will feature three different matchups that see MLW talents put their titles on the line against CMLL stars.
The main event of the night will see Templario try to regain the MLW World Middleweight Championship in a rematch against KUSHIDA. Templario’s reign with the title came to an end back in January when he lost to KUSHIDA as part of this year’s MLW Battle Riot card. With home-field advantage, the CMLL talent will look to avenge that loss in just a few weeks.
Earlier in the night, recent CMLL arrival Garra Negra will challenge MLW World Women’s Featherweight Champion Shotzi. Garra Negra made her CMLL debut just last month and has the chance to make a big splash in her first title appearance since joining the promotion.
In tag action, Averno and Euforia will try to dethrone the team of Bishop Dyer and Donovan Dijak, who have held MLW’s tag belts for nearly 300 days.
