Fans in Laredo, Texas, will be treated to a concert next week when Monday Night Raw heads to the Sames Auto Arena.
Former NXT Champion Joe Hendry will appear on the April 27 episode of Raw, WWE confirmed on this evening’s broadcast. The viral star will present one of his classic in-ring concerts, and possibly kick off the beginning of his run as a full-time Raw talent.
While it wasn’t confirmed that Hendry has officially been called up to Raw from the NXT roster, commentator Michael Cole teased that he might have joined the Monday night brand on tonight’s show.
Hendry has been a frequent NXT name as of late, joining the brand last year after a run in TNA Wrestling. He dropped the NXT Championship earlier this month at Stand & Deliver, losing a four-way bout to Tony D’Angelo.
Hendry is expected to face Keanu Carver on Tuesday night’s episode of NXT.
Along with the appearance of Hendry, it’s expected that Becky Lynch will be on next week’s show.
The segment will be Lynch’s first cameo since recapturing the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 42, dethroning AJ Lee.
