TNA Wrestling has moved the start time for Slammiversary at Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts.
Ticket information for the June 28 event was updated to 3 p.m. ET, which likely would mean the main show starts at 4 p.m. This avoids a direct head-to-head with Forbidden Door, which AEW advertised as a 7 p.m. start.
TNA announced the date and location for Slammiversary on April 9, along with the rest of their schedule for the year. A week later, on April 15, AEW confirmed Forbidden Door would be on the same date at SAP Center in San Jose, California.
TNA President Carlos Silva did not reference AEW directly, but he alluded to other companies running shows on the same night and alleged they blocked TNA from running certain arenas and venues. Those factors led Silva to pull TNA talent from prominent matches and events featuring AEW talent, most notably a match between Leon Slater and Ricochet at the Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow.
The next major TNA event after Slammiversary is Lockdown in Chicago, Illinois on Aug. 23, a week before All In: London. After that, TNA Bound for Glory is scheduled for Oct. 11 in Tampa, Florida. AEW has not announced events past All In: London on Aug. 30.
