Lucha Libre AAA has confirmed two major matchups featuring WWE talent for its upcoming Noches de Los Grandes event.
The show will take place on Saturday, May 30, at the Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico.
The War Raiders will challenge Pagano and Psycho Clown for the AAA World Tag Team Championship. Ivar and Erik previously attacked Psycho Clown during the May 9 broadcast following a disagreement between the reigning champions. The duo continued their momentum on this week’s television episode by laying out multiple teams.
A six-woman tag team match is also official for the May 30 card. WWE Women’s Champion Bayley teams with NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice and La Catalina to face Las Toxicas. Bayley previously appeared on the May 9 episode to save Vice and Catalina from an assault by Flammer, Maravilla, and La Hiedra.
Ahead of the Monterrey event, officials scheduled a title match for the May 23 edition of AAA on Fox. Laredo Kid will defend the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship against Rey Fenix. The champion cut a promo claiming Fenix was jealous of his ongoing reign. He has held the championship since December 2024, while Fenix previously carried the belt for nearly 400 days before vacating it.
The promotion aired its latest television episode on May 16 from the Auditorio General Jose Maria Arteaga in Queretaro. The Creed Brothers defeated Aerostar and El Fiscal. A post-match brawl then broke out involving Rayo, Bravo Americano, and two versions of El Grande Americano.
Elsewhere, Mr. Iguana and La Parka won a four-way tag team match. Galeno also secured a victory over Chris Carter and Drago.
