Family Matters
WWE Raw from Greensboro kicked off with Roman Reigns arriving at the arena and Adam Pearce approaching him, the same way last week started. Pearce said they were doing things his way tonight, and Jacob Fatu needed to be fired. Reigns said no, he was calling Fatu out right now. With that, Fatu’s music played, and he appeared in the arena. Fatu called out Roman, but The Usos answered the call. Jey had a chair, but Jimmy held him back, wanting to talk first. Jimmy attempted to reason with him, but Jey had had enough and went after him with the chair. Fatu applied the Tongan Death Grip on Jimmy and then Jey until Roman’s music hit, and the two exchanged blows.

The Usos made the save, and the three triple-teamed Jacob, leaving him lying. Adam Pearce appeared, and Reigns told him he could do whatever he wanted now. Before Pearce could talk, Jacob got on the mic and simply said, “Tribal Combat,” and Roman accepted. Later, it was confirmed for Clash in Italy on May 31st.

A Finn Balor / JD McDonagh vignette aired, and it was announced that the two were facing off yet again tonight, this time in a Street Fight. The previous two matches were on April 20th and May 4th.
Street Fight
The first match of the night was the Street Fight between Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. The action quickly spilled to the outside, and weapons came into play as the crowd immediately chanted for tables. Balor attempted to pull out a table, and McDonagh hit a running dive onto him in a scary-looking spot. The two brawled into the crowd, and JD hit a Moonsault off of equipment cases onto Balor as the show went to commercial.
A BACKFLIP TO THE FLOOR 😱@jd_mcdonagh you are insane for that! pic.twitter.com/j3GdRM2pjU

After the break, McDonagh had set up a table in the corner, and Balor hit a running missile dropkick, sending McDonagh through it, much to the crowd’s delight. Balor went for the Coup de Graces, but JD moved, hitting a Busaiku Knee for a near fall. Dominik Mysterio stopped Balor from hitting the Coup de Grace with McDonagh on a table, allowing JD to hit a Superplex through said table, but only for a two count. The two double-teamed Balor with trash cans, and Dom went for the 619, but Balor pulled JD out of the way. Balor finally hit the Coup de Graces with JD inside a trash can for the pinfall victory.

Seth Rollins was interviewed backstage, saying he was a marked man with zero allies, but he was going to put an end to The Vision. Rollins noted that he hadn’t had a match on Raw in nine months and revealed he would face anyone from The Vision in the main event later tonight.

Next, Sol Ruca was interviewed, saying she hadn’t won on Raw yet, but she was interrupted by Becky Lynch, who told her to leave and go back to NXT. Sol said Becky was right and left, heading to the ring. Ruca called out Becky, and Becky obliged. Sol challenged Becky to a match, but Becky said no, but she would consider it for Saturday Night’s Main Event. Ruca said she would take Becky’s title, and Becky said Ruca didn’t deserve a shot at her title. So it remained unclear whether the match would be for the title.

The Vision was backstage, and Bron Breakker demanded a match with Seth Rollins tonight, but Heyman said it would be Austin Theory instead. Breakker complained, but Heyman pointed out that they now knew exactly when and where Rollins would be, and suggested Breakker could “run this play”.

Trios Tornado Match
The next match was a trios tornado match with OG Americano and Los Hermanos Americanos taking on Los Grande Americanos. Action was all over the place in this one, as no tags were required. Action spilled to the outside, and OG Americano hit a moonsault on the rest of the competitors as the show went to ad break. Upon return, momentum shifted back and forth with nonstop high-flying maneuvers. All three Americanos put metal plates into their masks, but the OG Americanos countered and hit triple German Suplexes, followed by triple Moonsaults for a triple nearfall. The finish saw El Grande and Los Americanos triple-team loaded masks into the head of one of Los Hermanos Americanos.

Somehow, WWE put together a whole video on Tribal Combat in less than an hour, and that aired next. The Usos were interviewed, but were interrupted by LA Knight. Knight pointed out it was not long ago that the three of them were teaming up to take on The Vision, and now they were acting the same way. The Usos said “not now” and walked away.

Women’s Tag Team Championship
Next up, Brie Bella and Paige defended their tag titles against Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez, accompanied to the ring by Liv Morgan. Early on, Paige went for a dive out of the ring but was caught by Raquel and slammed into the barricade and side of the ring as the show went to break. Afterward, Paige finally made the tag to Brie, and Liv Morgan got involved, but it backfired as Brie and Paige double-teamed Rodriguez. Morgan got involved again, but this time the referee caught her and threw her out. Raquel threw one of the titles to Roxanne, but Brie rolled her up for the win. After the match, the three Judgment Day members beat down the champions, but Bayley and Lyra Valkyria made the save.

The Street Profits were interviewed backstage and said they would win the tag titles at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Angelo Dawkins spotted Seth Rollins warming up and approached him. Rollins apologized for what happened last week but said he had to focus on his match and walked right out to the ring.
Seth Rollins vs. Austin Theory
The main event of the night was Seth Rollins taking on Austin Theory. Rollins hit a dive onto Theory and Paul before the bell. Rollins tried three times to hit the Stomp but failed each time. Theory caught a Rollins kick and slammed his foot into the ring post, turning the tide. Logan Paul got involved behind the referee’s back, and Theory drove Rollins into the timekeeper’s area. After a commercial, Rollins fought from underneath while selling his foot and ankle.
