Justice for Gunther

After Michael Cole noted he is filling in for Joe Tessitore, who is on Zuffa Boxing duty, Gunther stormed in. He demanded justice for what happened at Clash in Italy. He pointed out that he has the best ring awareness, so he intentionally put his foot under the rope, but the ref counted the pinfall anyway. Cody came out and wondered if Gunther had never had something not go his way in his career. He offered Gunther a rematch, which prompted Sami Zayn to come out. Sami said he tried to stay back but couldn’t after hearing Gunther complaining about getting robbed, which he is very familiar with. He also remarked about the “Golden Boy” giving out rematches. He said his friendship with Cody is where it’s at. Instead of talking, Cody blows him off, but the biggest threat to his title is staring him in the eyes. Gunther took advantage and pushed Cody into Sami, knocking him out. This time, Sami saved Cody from getting choked out, but as Sami and Gunther brawled outside, Cody went for a suicide dive but ended up hitting Sami after Gunther pulled him in that direction. Cody tried to shake hands, but Sami wasn’t having any of it.

Mizhausen

The Miz was on FaceTime with Kit Wilson, who could “smell the toxicity” of Danhausen from wherever he’s at. Miz ends up in Danhausen’s clone room and knocks everything over until he electrocutes himself (there was a weird camera effect used to illustrate this).

Call a lawyer

Gunther confronts Nick Aldis backstage and tells him to do something, or he’ll get his legal team involved. He’ll hand Aldis so many lawsuits that his grandchildren will need lawyers.

Queen of the Ring: Raquel Rodriguez vs. Bayley vs. Jacy Jayne vs. Kiana James

This was a typical WWE multi-person affair. Everyone got their stuff in, but hard to say anyone stood out. The closing stretch of the match saw Jacy Jayne take out Giulia ringside, which caught Kiana’s attention. However, Kiana eventually got Bayley pinned with her feet on the ropes. Jacy swiped Kiana’s legs off, and Giulia took out Jacy, but Kiana thought Giulia cost her the match and yelled at her. Bayley hit her with the Rose Plant, Jacy hit Rolling Encore and Raquel won with the Tejana Bomb.

Welcome back Gable

Sami Zayn was crashing out backstage, looking for Johnny Gargano. He ranted at him until Aldis met up with him to tell Sami to stay out of Cody’s and Gunther’s business. That pissed off Sami, and he wondered why Aldis couldn’t talk more with him, and that’s when Chad Gable stepped in front of Sami and stared him down before entering Aldis’ office.

Royce Keys vs. Talla Tonga

There wasn’t a whole lot to this match. Talla won after interference from Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga. The MFTs attacked Royce after the match, and R-Truth came out for the save. Damian Priest came out to save Truth.

Judgment Day gold quest

The Judgment Day was in a stairwell and celebrated Raquel’s win. Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio talked about how they wanted all the gold, but Liv made an offhand comment about her beating Rhea Ripley and not Raquel. She wasn’t pleased, but Liv and Dom brushed it off.

Officially official

A Finn Balor vignette played, and Michael Cole confirmed he was a member of SmackDown.

Crossover tag

Priest chastised Truth for going out when he’s not cleared. He still doesn’t trust Royce for whatever reason and only cares about Truth, who made a joke about his brother being a doctor, a doctor of Thuganomics. The War Raiders then confronted Truth. They noted they are the new AAA tag team champions and want to face Truth and Priest for their titles. Truth told them he never met them a day in his life.

Queen of the Ring build

Rhea Ripley was out in a knee brace. She said her Jade Cargill chapter is over, but acknowledged her knee injury. She also pointed out the help she received at Clash in Italy, and Charlotte Flair came out. Charlotte admitted that she’s enjoyed her time with Rhea, but with Queen of the Ring coming up, her eye is on the title. Tiffany Stratton then came out and noted her past beef with Charlotte. Tiffany said that while she is the U.S. champion, she also wants Rhea’s belt. Jade Cargill and her crew came out, and Jade talked about how stupid the three in the ring looked together. She told Charlotte that she’ll take care of her at QOTR and pointed out what happened to Alexa. The heel trio was going to come into the ring, but Nick Aldis halted the action, pointing out Rhea’s injury. Charlotte admitted that while she and Tiffany never got along, she hates Jade worse and challenged her and one of her other “backup dancers” to a match.

Charlotte Flair & Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill & Michin

Following the commercial break, Michin hit a Styles Clash, which prompted “AJ Styles” chants from the crowd. Charlotte eventually got the hot tag to Tiffany, who went to work on Michin and Jade. Later on, Tiffany tried to tag in Charlotte, but Michin dragged her off the apron. B-Fab attacked Charlotte when the ref was looking after Michin when Charlotte threw her into the post. Tiffany initially countered Jaded with a roll-up, but Jade cut off the Prettiest Moonsault Ever and hit Jaded for the win.

Fatal Influence pivots

Jacy was crashing out over her loss backstage until she saw Brie Bella and Paige taking pictures with their titles. Brie made fun of her, but Fatal Influence seemingly snuck up on Brie and Paige. Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley held up the tag titles, signaling their next challenge.

Tag team triangle

Royce and Truth are backstage, and Royce thanked Truth for helping him out. Truth told Royce that Priest is a tough nut to crack, but he’ll love him once he gets through to him. Royce isn’t interested in getting Priest’s help and is happy with Truth’s support. He then said that if Priest wants an issue, he’ll get one.

Carmelo Hayes vs. Ricky Saints

Ricky jumped Hayes before the bell rang, but Hayes recovered and landed a frog splash with his leather jacket on. The pair traded their big moves in the second half of the match. Ricky tried to get a countout win like last week, but Hayes beat the count. Saints later caught Hayes in a roll-up while grabbing the tights for the win.

Former rivals meet again

Trick Williams said he’s excited to see the “Siamese Twins” fight each other, but is focused on his King of the Ring match and being a double champion. Bron Breakker confronted him backstage, and they stared each other down.

Friendship time

Tiffany is still dealing with the aftereffects of her match when Chelsea Green came up to her and asked why she didn’t ask her to be with her. There were more of the same misunderstandings between the two.

Blake Monroe targets Tiffany

Another Monroe vignette. She’s writing in her diary about Tiffany Stratton. She ended by saying that Tiffany may run on Tiffy Time, but she runs on Monroe Minutes.

Chelsea Green vs. Lash Legend

Green had some hope spots in this match, mixed with some mis-timed spots, but Lash was dominant and countered the Unprettier into the Lash Legend for the win.

Solo running out of patience

After a recap of the Bloodline angle from Raw, Solo Sikoa confronted Royce Keys, asking why he’s being so difficult, and he saw what happened on Monday. Royce wondered what that had to do with him, and Solo said everything because now, he has no one watching his back, and that he is the only family he has left. Royce told Solo that he didn’t work so hard to get here just for this. Solo agreed but pointed out that no one had come calling for him. However, he called Jacob into WWE. He called in Talla Tonga and Tama Tonga and made them champions, which he can do for Royce. He tells Royce to stop making things difficult, or he’ll make it difficult.

Danhausen came in during a commercial break to entertain the crowd

Gable apology tour

After a recap of the Mask vs. Mask match at Noche de los Grandes, Chad Gable came up to Rey Fenix, who was with Fraxiom. Gable said that his match with Fenix at WrestleMania last year was under false pretenses. He made fun of Fenix, but after his experience as Grande Americano, he’s gained so much more respect for lucha libre. He apologized to Fenix, who noted that he had disrespected other people.

Gunther tease

Nick Aldis caught up with Cody Rhodes following his call with Gunther’s legal team. Gunther agreed to a rematch under one condition, which would be revealed next week.

King of the Ring: Trick Williams vs. Bron Breakker vs. Dominik Mysterio vs. Damian Priest

Bron started this match hot with a German Suplex on Trick during his entrance. Bron took everyone else out, but the match slowed down heading into commercial break and went into a “your turn, my turn” that these multi-man matches tend to go into, with guys, including Bron, just lying in the corner or on the outside until it’s their time. There was a brief moment where Priest and Dom were working together, but that was short-lived. Trick and Priest sort of worked together, but Trick later helped out Breakker for a double superplex spot that started off shaky, but they eventually got it to leave everyone lying down. After the final break, Priest hit Dom with a Razor’s Edge, but Liv distracted the ref. Bron then caught Priest with a Gorilla Press and hit Trick with a spinning sideslam. Dom set up Bron for the 619, but Priest cut him off. Bron ducked a spin kick and nailed a spear. He sent Dom out, but Trick caught him with a Trick Shot. Dom pulled the ref before he could count three. Trick slaps Dom off the apron. Bron sends Trick outside and hits a lariat, sending them both through the table. Dom set up Priest for a 619, but he played possum and hit a lariat. JD McDonagh distracted Priest, but he hit him with the South of Heaven. Liv saved Dom with a low blow to Priest. He hit the 619 and frog splash for the win.
