TNA revealed its first inductee for its 2026 Hall of Fame class.
During Slammiversary, it was revealed that Amazing Red will be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame over Bound for Glory weekend this October.
Following the Ultimate X Match, Red remained in the ring where Frankie Kazarian gave a speech putting over Red and threw to a video package with the announcement.
Slammiversary represented Red’s first match in TNA since 2011. Red was one of the early stars of for NWA TNA, joining its X Division a month after the promotion launched in 2002.
The X Division became the early standout attraction for TNA’s weekly pay-per-views involving Red, Low Ki, Jerry Lynn, AJ Styles, and The Maximos.
Red became a cult favorite at the TNA Asylum in Nashville, aided by the commentary of Don West, who became a genuine fan of Red and did his over-the-top calls for the performer, including a memorable one where he stood on the desk yelling, “Go, Red, Go”.

He won the X Division title from Kid Kash in May 2003 but only held it for two weeks. Red didn’t win the belt again until 2009, losing the title right after the arrivals of Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff. His third and final X Division title win occurred in September 2010, and he lost it two days later.
In 2012, Red founded House of Glory, which he continues to run today.
Bound for Glory takes place on October 11 in Tampa, Florida.
