El Hijo del Vikingo is going to be out of action for an indefinite period, as the performer shared an update on Monday.
The AAA talent stated he is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday with a post on Instagram featuring photos of himself on crutches and his left knee in a brace.

Vikingo was scheduled for a match against EK Prosper last Tuesday on NXT, and it was reported by Cory Hays at False Finish that Vikingo suffered the injury earlier in the day, while preparing. Hays states it’s a left ACL injury.
Vikingo is the current AAA Latin American Champion and wrestled on last Monday’s SmackDown taping against Rey Fenix one day before he suffered the injury.
