Willow Nightingale’s return to TJPW is official for next week.
The former TBS Champion will perform for the Joshi brand as part of the 2026 Summer Sun Princess card at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan on July 18, going head-to-head with Mizuki.
TJPW confirmed the matchup just minutes after Nightingale made her return from injury on Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, coming back and earning a future title shot against world champ Thekla.

Nightingale has made sporadic appearances for TJPW over the years. She wrestled at the company’s Grand Princess card last year, winning a singles bout against Miu Watanabe. She also worked a pair of matches for the brand in 2022.
Now, just a few weeks before she possibly begins her first-ever run as AEW Women’s World Champion, she’ll meet one of the biggest current TJPW names in Mizuki. The 31-year-old has spent the past decade in TJPW, where she has held their top title, the Princess of Princess Championship, for a combined 464 days.
