Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins will sign the contract for their World Heavyweight Championship match on Monday’s edition of WWE Raw.
Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced the segment in a video posted on Sunday, describing the SummerSlam contest as one of WWE’s most historically significant championship matches in recent years.
Rollins challenged Reigns on the June 29 edition of Raw. Their title match will take place at SummerSlam, which is scheduled for August 1 and 2 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
The former Shield members last met in a singles match at the 2022 Royal Rumble. Rollins won by disqualification after Reigns refused to release the Guillotine despite Rollins reaching the ropes. Reigns retained the Universal Championship because the title could not change hands on a disqualification.
WWE’s preview for the SummerSlam match lists Rollins with a 5-4-1 record against Reigns in singles competition.
Monday’s Raw will take place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Reigns and Brock Lesnar are among the featured names advertised by the venue listing.
The announced lineup is as follows:
- Intercontinental Championship #1 contender’s gauntlet: Dragon Lee vs. Chad Gable vs. Joe Hendry vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Dominik Mysterio vs. Ethan Page vs. Rusev
- IYO SKY vs. Roxanne Perez
- Bayley and Lyra Valkyria meet face-to-face
- Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins contract signing
- Brock Lesnar appears
- Jacob Fatu has demanded that Solo Sikoa appear
