Jalen Brunson could be joined by some of his New York Knicks teammates at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Brunson is scheduled for an appearance with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns this Saturday at Madison Square Garden. Brunson has appeared on WWE TV before and is a vocal WWE fan, and according to Michael Cole, he might not show up alone.
“I know that a bunch of the Knicks have been invited,” Cole said on The Sal Licata Show. “I’m not sure who is going to come. If there are surprises, they aren’t gonna tell me anyway. We’re gonna have to find out on Saturday night.”
This year’s Fanatics Fest is in New York City, and multiple WWE performers and Knicks players were scheduled for appearances this weekend, including Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges, so there will be plenty of crossover between the NBA champions and WWE talent over the weekend.
Cole also confirmed on The Sale Licata Show that the Cody Rhodes and CM Punk versus Sami Zayn and Gunther tag team match will main event Saturday Night’s Main Event.
