AEW’s tag division has hit a New Level.
Austin Creed & Kofi (formerly Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) made their AEW debut on Sunday night, appearing at Wembley Stadium as part of All In: London 2026. Working alongside former world champ Swerve Strickland, the ex-WWE names captured the AEW World Trios Championships.
Creed and Kofi, now using the name The New Level, prevailed in a seven-team match which started on the broadcast’s Buy-In pre-show and bled into the pay-per-view main card.
In a Trios Roulette Royale – what was effectively a Royal Rumble match involving prominent AEW trios teams – The New Level and Strickland entered last. The closing sequence saw them battle with Gabe Kidd of the Death Riders as well as Claudio Castagnoli and PAC, eliminating them all over the top rope to end the match in 39 minutes.
Kingston and Woods shockingly exited the WWE roster in May, both ending stints with the company which lasted over a decade and a half. Sunday marked their first in-ring appearance since making that notable departure earlier in the year.
While never explicitly mentioned on TV, it was heavily expected that Creed and Kofi would show up on Sunday night as part of the trios showdown.
Page, Bandido and King, known as “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly,” won AEW’s trios titles earlier this month as part of the Grand Slam Mexico lineup. They previously put an end to The Demand’s run with the belts, which lasted just a week.
Earlier on the pre-show: Britt Baker returns, Persephone captures TBS title
The first title change occurred in the co-main event of the pre-show, where Persephone ended Maya World’s reign as TBS Champion. After interference from a masked figure who was later revealed to be the returning Dr. Britt Baker DMD, Persephone executed a Razor’s Edge for the pinfall win in 11 minutes, beginning her first AEW title run.
World captured the TBS title earlier this year, taking down Hikaru Shida at Redemption, shortly after she was a finalist in this year’s Owen Hart Cup tournament. She’s now in a feud with Baker, who had been off AEW programming for over a year.
The popular TikTok duo of Big Boom AJ and son Big Justice appeared in the AEW ring once again as part of Sunday’s show. AJ won in an eight-man tag match, teaming with The Hurt Syndicate and QT Marshall to take down Shane Taylor Promotions. After AJ hit dual spears with his son Big Justice, the team was able to pick up the pinfall in 11 minutes. The Hurt Syndicate were presented with a $50,000 check from The Rizzler for their services after the win.
A Saturday Night Fever from Kris Statlander allowed her to score a win alongside Harley Cameron against The Sisters of Sin, who are currently two-thirds of the Artists of STARDOM Champions.
The pre-show opened with eight-man tag action, where The Rascalz won their first-ever All In appearance alongside “Blackheart” Lio Rush, taking on The Opps. Rush was the one who got the pinfall spotlight, taking out Anthony Bowens with a springboard stunner into a five-star frogsplash.
Former AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla also returned during Sunday’s pre-show broadcast, crashing the broadcast’s talk panel. Standing on top of the team’s desk, Thekla said she would be watching the top women’s match of the night “very closely.”
