AEW added four matches to Tuesday’s Grand Slam France card during Collision, while also confirming a World Tag Team Championship match for WrestleDream.
Grand Slam France will take place at Adidas Arena in Paris, marking AEW’s first live event in the country. Will Ospreay’s AEW World Championship defense against Kazuchika Okada had already been made official following All Out.
Three further championship matches were announced Saturday.
Queen Aminata will challenge Mercedes Moné for the AEW Women’s World Championship after defeating Julia Hart on Collision.
Moné is already scheduled to defend against Thekla at WrestleDream after Thekla earned the shot by defeating Willow Nightingale at All Out. That match is therefore contingent on Moné leaving Paris with the championship.
TNT Champion Darby Allin will defend against Kyle Fletcher after Allin issued the challenge during Collision.
Kofi will also challenge Bandido for the ROH World Championship. The New Level member called out Bandido backstage after defeating ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty in the opening match of Saturday’s show.
Samoa Joe and Jack Perry will meet in the other newly announced match, with the winner qualifying for the eight-man Clockwork Carnage match for the AEW World Championship at WrestleDream.
Perry had been seeking a match with Joe following their confrontation at the All Out Tailgate Brawl. Joe responded during Collision and accepted the challenge.
