Jim Ross will undergo a second brain procedure this week.
The veteran broadcaster has been riddled with myriad health problems for years, including a brain procedure administered this past August. The surgery was necessary after a significant hospital stay following a collapse inside his home. The operation was aimed at managing fluid on his brain, causing problems with memory and balance, with a shunt installed.
Ross has updated his listeners on the Grilling J.R. podcast that he has experienced “blistering headaches” since the procedure and will need to undergo a follow-up surgery on Wednesday.

Ross has battled skin and colon cancer in recent years. He last appeared on AEW programming this past May at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
