Oba Femi overcame interference from The Vision to defeat Bronson Reed at WWE Money in the Bank on Saturday.
Femi pinned Reed with the Fall From Grace after 11:33 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
The match centered on the two heavyweights attempting to overpower one another. Reed gained control outside the ring with a back suplex onto the apron before driving Femi into the barricade and steps and following with a dive through the ropes.
Back inside, Reed hit three consecutive sentons and later avoided an attempted back suplex when Femi’s back gave way.
Femi recovered after Reed missed a Tsunami and began to build momentum with a series of running uppercuts and a spinebuster for a near fall.
The Vision then became involved.
Austin Theory and Maxxine Dupri appeared at ringside to distract Femi, while Logan Paul approached from the opposite side carrying a steel chair.
The referee caught Paul and ejected him, but the distraction allowed Dupri to pass Reed a pair of brass knuckles.
Reed struck Femi twice with the weapon before hitting the Tsunami, but Femi kicked out at two.
Bronson Reed followed with a Death Valley Driver and attempted a moonsault from the top rope. Femi moved out of the way and responded with another running uppercut.
Femi then grabbed Theory and chokeslammed him onto the ring apron before throwing Reed across the ring and hitting the Fall From Grace for the victory.
Paul Heyman was shown watching the match backstage and smiled after Femi’s win.
The match continued a rivalry that began when Femi became involved with The Vision during the summer.
Reed returned from injury at Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6, interfering in Femi’s match against Bron Breakker and attacking him alongside The Vision.
