Tiffany Stratton overcame a frightening landing from a ladder early in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match to win the contract for a second time.

Stratton defeated Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Roxanne Perez, Lash Legend and Women’s US Champion Jacy Jayne on Saturday at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

The concerning moment came within the opening minutes. Stratton climbed a ladder positioned at ringside and attempted a Swanton onto the other five competitors. The ladder shifted backward as she jumped, leaving Stratton short of the group below.

Her legs made contact with some of the wrestlers, but they did not break her fall and Stratton landed heavily on the floor. She immediately reached for the back of her head as the match briefly slowed and ringside officials examined her.

Stratton subsequently returned to the action, initially stopping Jayne from climbing a ladder before continuing through the remainder of the match.

Several other big ladder spots followed. Ruca hung from the suspended briefcase after Jayne pushed away the ladder beneath her, eventually dropping onto several wrestlers below.

Later, Ruca hit a frog splash from the top rope onto Legend, who was lying across a ladder bridged between the apron and commentary desk, breaking the ladder on impact.

Vice and Jayne also took a hard fall when Vice applied a choke while both were climbing. They fell backward onto another bridged ladder, which shifted beneath them as they crashed toward ringside.

The closing sequence began with Perez hitting Pop Rox on Stratton and attempting to retrieve the contract. Ruca stopped her and delivered a Sol Snatcher from the ladder before making a climb of her own.

Legend pulled Ruca down and powerbombed her onto a ladder positioned in the corner.

That left Legend climbing toward the briefcase before Stratton joined her on the opposite side. Stratton grabbed the case while it was still attached and repeatedly struck Legend with it, knocking her from the ladder.

Stratton then unhooked the briefcase to win the match in 15:20.

It is her second Money in the Bank victory after she won the 2024 match in Toronto.

Stratton held that contract for almost six months before cashing in on Nia Jax in January 2025 to win the WWE Women’s Championship.

She now once again holds a contract guaranteeing a championship opportunity at a time of her choosing.
