A special intergender tag match will take place as part of Natsupoi’s retirement tour later this month.
Natsupoi will work alongside her husband and NJPW wrestler Shingo Takagi to take on the team of Yuna Mizumori and Hirooki Goto as part of a STARDOM card on October 29, the promotion announced on Sunday.
The matchup was made during STARDOM’s Korakuen Hall card on Sunday night, shortly after Mizumori successfully defended her High Speed Championship against Natsupoi.
The booking marks Natsupoi’s first time ever sharing the ring with Takagi, whom she announced her marriage to early this year.
The upcoming match isn’t Natsupoi’s first time working an intergender match with NJPW talent. She appeared on the first and second NJPW & STARDOM Historic X-Over cards, teaming alongside Taichi in both appearances.
STARDOM’s Natsupoi is just a few months away from her retirement match, which is scheduled to take place on January 3.
STARDOM’s October 29 card, CRIMSON NIGHTMARE, will see world champ Suzu Suzuki defend her title in the main event against Starlight Kid from the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan.
