  • On Skydance, Khan revealed he’s been in a lot of discussions with a lot of the new people. He noted that David Ellison has been “very excited and positive” about AEW. Khan added that he’s expecting a lot of changes but thinks it will be a positive for AEW.
  • Khan admitted he didn’t know how long Adam Copeland would want to go in 2027. Copeland told him that next year would be his last, and he accepted that.
  • Khan also admitted he didn’t know how bad Christian Cage’s injuries from the All Out ladder match were. He added that Cage tried to power through and downplayed his injuries. “I’m just glad he’s going to be OK.”
  • Maya World was praised for her Owen Hart tournament and TBS Title run. Khan called it an inspirational and incredible story, given what was happening outside of the ring for her, and that she would still be in the TBS Championship picture if not for her injury. He then previewed the upcoming TBS Title match at WrestleDream.
  • On Copeland’s list of bucket list venues, Khan left it up in the air regarding whether the Tokyo Dome was discussed with NJPW and simply said he wanted to keep talks with himself, Copeland, and Gedo private.
  • It was noted that Blood and Guts occurs every November. Khan called November a strong time of year to hold Blood and Guts from a TV and marketing standpoint.
  • Following a Skydance follow-up question, Khan said if there are changes for AEW, it would only be positive changes to grow distribution.
  • Taya Valkyrie was eliminated on The Traitors: Canada. Khan said he always likes it when wrestlers do outside projects and added that Valkyrie was someone “we all respect and like a lot.”
  • There was a question about how important Jon Moxley is to the AEW locker room, especially his impact during The Butcher and Pac tribute shows. Khan said he has so much respect for Moxley and praised him as an incredible leader and as someone AEW can count on to be the best every week. Khan revealed that after the Pac tribute show, Moxley told him that it felt good to be out there.
  • Khan gave a kayfabe answer about Mick Foley and The Hurt Syndicate.
  • Khan ended the call noting that he’s putting together a “Tony Top 20 of 2026,” admitting it’s a challenge with all the great matches this year.
