Saudi Arabia has suffered another deadly attack.

King Fahd International Airport in Dammam was struck on Wednesday night, per an announcement by the country’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA).

GACA confirmed that one death and eight injuries occurred due to the attack. Damage to airport property was mentioned as well. No further details are known at the moment.

Dammam is an eastern city in Saudi Arabia, sitting on the coast of the Persian Gulf. It is the fifth-most populous region in the country.

Saudi Arabia has suffered numerous attacks in recent weeks, many claimed by the Iran-backed Houthis. Riyadh International Airport has been heavily restricted recently after suffering a series of attacks, including one which left 13 dead and over 300 injured.

Saudi Arabia remains under attack just days before the country is expected to host prominent combat sports and professional wrestling events.

Canelo Alvarez is scheduled to box Christian Mbilli as part of a show in Riyadh on October 31. Just a week later, WWE will visit the city for its Crown Jewel Premium Live Event (PLE).

Numerous outlets confirmed earlier today that “non-emergency” staff at the U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia were ordered to leave the country.
